Can you spot SID?

SID could be lurking behind a haematological malignancy

Secondary immunodeficiency (SID) has a varied etiology that can affect the normal functioning of the immune system. Causes can be an underlying patient´s condition or its treatment.1 

​​​​​​​Infections as a result of SID may lead untreated to irreparable organ damage and fatal outcomes.2​​​​​​​

Early diagnosis and treatment is crucial to help shield patients from the possible consequences of SID.2
